The Lamrim, or stages of the path to enlightenment, is a special condensation of all of Buddha’s teachings made by the great Kadampa master Atisha (982-1054 CE). In this unguided retreat we have the opportunity to contemplate and meditate upon these extraordinary teachings.
Through practising these 21 meditations we can cease our suffering in this life and all our future lives. We will then be in a position to help our family, friends and all living beings to do the same. What could be more beneficial and meaningful than this?
Each 1½ hour retreat session will include chanted prayers and silent time for meditation practice.
Students should bring the following books, if they own them: Joyful Path of Good Fortune, The New Meditation Handbook, and How to Transform Your Life.
New students will have the opportunity to purchase these books or borrow a library copy if it is available.
