Join us for a relaxing weekend retreat and be guided in a series of practical meditations that will enable you gradually to stop distractions, and to experience the spacious clear nature of your mind at deeper and deeper levels. In this way you can enjoy a special feeling of mental clarity and gain the confidence to solve your human problems and to find everlasting peace and happiness. All you need to do is learn to understand and control your mind.

The Teacher
Gen Kelsang Konchog is the Resident Teacher at Vajrapani Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Georgetown, Penang.
Gen Konchog has engaged in long strict meditation retreats and speaks from her own experience about the benefits of meditation, how to develop concentration and how to practise in daily life to benefit both ourself and others.
She is clear and precise in her communications, whilst maintaining a light and humorous attitude. She is known for her practical and joyful teachings.
Location
Pangkor Island is a resort island in Manjung District, Perak, Malaysia. It is accessed by ferry from Lumut on the mainland. Our retreat is being held at Sea View Hotel which is located in Pasir Bogak, about 2km south west of Pangkor jetty.
It is a very quiet and peaceful location. The hotel provides simple accommodation in single, twin, or 3 /4 person rooms. It is reached by taxi from the jetty – no private cars are allowed on the island.

Cost is per person and includes all meals (vegetarian) and retreat fees

Retreat information
The retreat begins with dinner at 6.00pm on Friday, and ends on Sunday at 12.00pm.
Booking
Booking is open. As space is limited, please reserve your place as soon as possible.
A deposit of 30% is payable at time of reservation.
All bookings and payment in full must be received by Thursday 21st February.
